Trail Overview

Norconk Trail is a classic 2.4-mile bidirectional Michigan two-track trail within the Traverse City Forest Management Unit. Located between 602 and Norconk Road, this trail is easily accessible and is near some other pretty incredible trails. This trail surface consists of a dirt and gravel combination. This is a pretty straightforward trail, but it has tons of sights to see. The beautiful nature along this trail is one of a kind. Like most Michigan offroad trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause unfavorable conditions on the trail, including downed trees, mud holes, and washouts. There aren't any notable obstacles along this trail, but it is still a fun one to check out. This is not a difficult trail, but it contains a lot of fun and gives access to local hiking, hunting, and other recreation. Regardless of the length or conditions of this trail, it's a route worth checking out. The trail ends near private property. Keep to the trail and do not trespass. As always, PLEASE TREAD LIGHTLY and be respectful of our public lands so future generations can have access to these trails.
