FS 4062

FS 4062 is a scenic two-track that winds through an open meadow area of the National Forest. Sections of trees break up the route, while several open areas provide great views across the meadow and surrounding forest. The trail is one vehicle wide with several places to pass. The surface is mostly hard-packed sand with small sections of loose rock and gravel. A couple of low areas can develop mud puddles after heavy rainfall. The route runs east to west, with the east end accessed from M-97 and the west end connecting with FS 3101. Stay on the established trail and follow Tread Lightly and Leave No Trace principles to help protect the meadow and surrounding forest.
