FS 4030

FS 4030 is a tight two-track that travels through deep, dense sections of forest. The trail has a sandy and dirt base with a handful of low-lying areas that can become muddy after rainfall. While the route is not particularly difficult, the narrow trail and dense vegetation require careful driving. The tight conditions mean pinstriping on your rig is likely, especially through the more overgrown sections. The route travels north to south, with the south end accessed from FS 4482 and the north end connecting with Sunrise Road - FS 4159. Stay on the established trail and avoid widening the route around muddy or overgrown sections to help minimize impact on the surrounding forest.
