Trail Overview

Winding trail through the woods to Lake Superior. The trail is mostly gravel at this point leading up to a walking trail that will take you down to the lake. There is plenty of traffic as it is a shared resource with full-size vehicles making the trail relatively easy to pass with most vehicles.

Difficulty

Not much for challenges on this trail, hard gravel base and pretty wide for the most part. Other than a few tight corners you should not encounter issues with most vehicles on this stretch.

Trail was somewhat washboard in places and mostly poor grade gravel road. Only one large water hole encountered that was at least 18" deep with a bypass for low ground clearance vehicles. Walking trail at end leads to a scenic cove.
