Trail Overview

Deward Road is a double-lane dirt road. The trail is part of the Grayling Forest Management Unit and offers opportunities to see wildlife and explore the trail system in Northern Michigan. Most sections are wide enough for another vehicle to pass. This trail is a nice ride with some soft sand in spots, so be careful. The trail can be run in either direction and ended at Cameron Bridge Rd. This trail ties into multiple trails in the surrounding area. The trail is mostly made up of pines and hardwood. Remember to stay on the trails and follow the Tread Lightly principles.
