Trail Overview

This trail starts at Candy Cane Lane to Perch Lake Road then you end up on Jasper Avenue. This trail will intersect with the Munising Loop. The trail also has a fun bonus a little Christmas Tree that has been decorated just at the edge of the trail. The tree does need a little upkeep. Such a great area to explore.

Started from Christmas and was easy going—until starting on the grade up and over into Munising. After hitting some sandy stretches it quickly became heavily rutted and washed out. The first big washout could be bypassed, but from then onwards required commitment. Vehicles with a lift shouldn’t have trouble. The rest need to pick careful lines, and lock your diff. Bringing a spotter will also make life easier.
