Trail Overview

This is a very well-maintained gravel road with no major obstacles. This turns off the paved road and continues along the Kentucky Adventure Trail. It follows along the Sheltowee Trace and winds along Sturgeon Creek. This road continues past the gravel area marked here to a stop sign where you can choose to turn north towards the rest of the Main Kentucky Adventure Trail or left (south) to the Hard 2 of the Kentucky Adventure Trail.

Difficulty

The biggest obstacle is some small mud puddles. There's some great scenery on this fairly easy trail.

Road surface has severe washboarding in places and has a few washes beginning. Not difficult with proper tire placement.
