Trail Overview
This trail forms a large, well-maintained loop that serves as one of the main access routes through the park. It’s wide and generally smooth, making it easy to navigate in most conditions. While there are a few low spots where mud may collect after rain, the surface typically remains firm enough that even a 2WD vehicle can make it through with careful driving. Because of its accessibility and layout, this loop is often used for retrieving broken vehicles from deeper in the trails and transporting them back to a trailer.
Difficulty
This is a very easy, maintained loop with minimal mud and no real obstacles. It’s suitable for 2WD vehicles and commonly used to retrieve or transport broken rigs back to trailers. Safe, simple, and highly accessible.
History
This park was formerly known as Sandy Bottoms, and longtime visitors may still refer to it by that name. The access road and staging area have evolved over time, but it remains a well-known local spot for off-road events and community rides.
