Trail Overview
This trail features a gentle hill climb with a steady incline, making it an easy and approachable route for most vehicles. The path is lined with brush and low-hanging branches in certain sections, so drivers should be prepared for possible pinstriping, especially with wider rigs. Despite the overgrowth, the trail surface itself is smooth and free of major obstacles or technical features to navigate. It serves primarily as a connector, guiding you toward several other trails within the area, making it a great transitional route for continued exploration.
Difficulty
This trail is very easy, with only a gentle hill climb and minor overgrowth to consider. There are no major obstacles, making it suitable for stock vehicles and beginner drivers. Light pinstriping is possible, but overall, it’s a simple connector trail with minimal challenge.
History
This park was formerly known as Sandy Bottoms, and longtime visitors may still refer to it by that name. The access road and staging area have evolved over time, but it remains a well-known local spot for off-road events and community rides.
