Trail Overview
This trail offers a mild and relaxed ride, making it suitable for most four-wheel-drive vehicles, including those with minimal modifications. The terrain is mostly smooth and easy to navigate, with gentle curves and a firm dirt base. While there are no major obstacles, drivers should be aware of a few narrow sections where trees and brush tighten around the path. In these areas, light pinstriping is possible, especially for wider rigs. Despite the occasional overgrowth, the trail remains manageable and straightforward, providing a calm, scenic route through the woods.
Difficulty
This trail is easy with no significant obstacles, making it beginner-friendly. The only mild challenge comes from tight tree sections that may cause light pinstriping. Otherwise, it’s a smooth and manageable route suitable for stock vehicles.
History
This park was formerly known as Sandy Bottoms, and longtime visitors may still refer to it by that name. The access road and staging area have evolved over time, but it remains a well-known local spot for off-road events and community rides.
