Trail Overview

Enjoy a slightly more slow-technical rocky trail in the South Hills. Overgrown trees, underbrush, loose rocks, eroded soil, deep ruts, and tall stones are to be expected. This is a fun and short connecting trail between Balsam Bench Road and Upper Deadline Ridge Road. After reaching the top, you are rewarded with lots of greenery and rolling hills in the valley below. Of course, many other riding opportunities await to take you in many different directions.

Difficulty

Loose rocks, tall exposed rocks, deep ruts, slight off camber areas, and overgrown underbrush and trees are to be expected. Not advised for low clearance vehicles or full sized vehicles due to tight turns, very few areas to allow for oncoming vehicle traffic, and the overgrown trees.

This is a 50” trail. One machine that was with us got in trouble with the Sheriff for being over 50”. Not sure why OnX says it is accessible by jeep, it is closed to over 50” as verified by the local Sheriff.
