Trail Overview

Pass Creek is a nice and easy drive located very close to Mackay, Idaho. The route was very popular when the Rally in the Pines was located in Mackay. The area offers unique views and some really nice camping spots. The road is very easy when dry, and most vehicles could make it. If the road is muddy, you may need caution and 4x4. The road is the easiest way to access the Upper Pahsimeroi Valley and the beautiful river canyons.Could be impassable with snow during winter.

Spectacular scenery, sheer rocks, flowing stream, lots of pull out campsites. RV accessible. Passenger car accessible. A little bumpier past the canyon but still probably 1/10.
