Trail Overview

This loop starts from the highway onto the old highway grade. The trail travels past recreational shooting sites and then ascends to a great view of the surrounding area with several campsites. This loop starts out as a graded road and the most challenging part of it is the hill climb to the view point and campsites.

Open
Up to 15° incline/descents with lots of rock mud and gravel. The main entrance is fenced off so you need to go down Sommer camp road until you find the first turn off on your right with a yellow cattle guard. Relatively easy with 4wd.
