Trail Overview

Turning onto Grayback Gulch off Highway 21 southwest of Idaho City begins with a paved 0.25-mile stretch running right through a large campground. Past the camping area, the route accesses an extensive network of dirt bike and mountain bike trails. Due to past logging operations, the road remains heavily graded and wide, but it is extremely dusty. Drive carefully and be prepared for low visibility when following other vehicles.
