Trail Overview

This is a 3-mile connecting road between Egan Basin Road and Beaver Green Canyon Road. It pops out on the ridge overlooking Middle Fork Canyon, where the entrance to Minnetonka Cave is. The views also extend down to Bear Lake and the Northern end of Bear Lake Valley. It then curls back and drops down onto Egan Basin Road. It is wide enough to accommodate a side-by-side but is probably a bit too narrow for any vehicles wider than that. This trail has a good variety of forested terrain, expansive vistas, and pastoral views.

Entrance to trail from main road has a gateway restricting anything wider than 50”. Road deeply rutted from run-off, but very doable on an ATV. Be ready for an “Indiana Jones” ride experience, especially for any passengers.
