Trail Overview

This out-and-back trail follows an easy, mostly single-lane gravel road through the scenic Chattahoochee National Forest. The first half is well-maintained and offers a smooth, relaxing drive. About halfway in, you’ll pass a church and cemetery on private property—please stay on the trail and be respectful as you pass through. Beyond this point, the road becomes slightly rougher with some minor washouts, ruts, and uneven sections, though nothing extreme. Most vehicles with decent clearance should have no trouble, especially in dry conditions. At the end of the trail, there is a large turnaround area that may also serve as a spot for dispersed camping. The area is quiet and remote, with little traffic and a peaceful atmosphere. Cell service is limited or unavailable, so plan ahead and bring any necessary supplies.
