Trail Overview
Wildcat Creek - FS 329 is a 3.1-mile out-and-back route that travels through heavily forested terrain on a packed dirt and gravel surface. The trail is a single lane with places to pass and is lightly maintained, giving it the feel of a traditional forest access road. With an easy difficulty rating, the route is generally straightforward to navigate while remaining narrow in several sections.
A quiet forest setting characterizes the drive, with a small stream crossing encountered along the route. Vegetation may be close to the trail in places, creating the potential for minor pinstripes on wider vehicles. The trail terminates at an open area at the end, providing a convenient turnaround point before returning along the same route. Access is restricted to highway-legal vehicles only. Seasonal access is generally available from March 15 through January 15, and travelers should be prepared for changing conditions throughout the operating season.
