Trail Overview

Tottery Pole is a side trail of the Georgia Traverse. It runs from FS86 (The Georgia Traverse) in the north and connects to Hale Ridge in the south. The trail is gravel and dirt (with some rocky surfaces) and meanders through Georgia's Chattahoochee National Forest. For part of the trail's path, it parallels Tottery Pole Creek and has a few places where one could fly fish. The trail is fairly basic and offers a few dispersed campsites. Cell service in the area is virtually non-existent.

Trail in good shape. Some trees down and overhanging the trail, but was able to get under them. There was one blocking the trail someone had previously cleared, but than slid further down the hill, which I cut a section off to open it up a bit.

We cleared multiple downed trees today. Snow on trail but no issues with grip. 4h is fine and probably ok with 2h

Coming up from the south entrance on the hale side, there was a downed tree over the trail. Is currently impassable due to dropoff on the side. Tree was bigger than the recovery/removal gear we had, so had to back out.
