South Panther Creek Road (FSR 220)

FSR 220 is an out-and-back ride that starts at the junction of Black Mountain Road and South Panther Creek Road. You will turn left onto South Panther Creek Road. The end of the road is also accessible for a few houses, so pay close attention to the trail to avoid entering private property. The overall trail looks like it is not traveled very often. As the trail progresses, it becomes a little more closed in but can be traversed by a full-sized vehicle. About a third of the way down, the road becomes rutted and covered in pine straw. At this point, 4-high is advised. After rain, you will encounter a few deep mud holes. The trail will end at a powerline easement that you are not allowed to travel beyond. There is room to turn around and start your way back out. 4-low may be needed to make it back out due to the pine needles and elevation. It's a nice ride for 1-3 vehicles max.
