Trail Overview

Forrest Service Road 64A is a rollercoaster of a road. On this road, you will feel like you are on a rollercoaster with how you climb this hill climb. long accents before dropping shortly to another hill climb. After the beautiful hill climb with amazing overlooks and some awesome rock faces along the trail. You are met with a big campsite that you can fit a decent amount of rigs in.

Were multiple trees that were already cut out of the trail. Single vehicle trail, no where to turn around until at the top/end of the trail. Was wet, but we made it up without having to put our 4runner in 4WD. A huge camp spot at the end of the trail, looking forward to coming back and camping up there.

Easy route up top. Big open area for multiple vehicles. Would recommend some protection due to bear sightings. Hunter was here saw/heard 400lb-500lb bear about a mile west

Gets a little slick when it’s rainy and wet but it’s a nice more technical and narrow trail to hit compared to all the wider gravel roads. Hard to see going over several of the hills up the mountain so a front facing camera comes in handy. Camp site located at the top but it’s a bit muddy and might attract mosquitos. Gate closed at the top.
