Trail Overview

This shorter trail begins a few miles in on the Stony Pass Road Trail, near Cheesman Reservoir in the Pike National Forest. The road heads west toward the Wigwam Creek Trailhead, providing access to the Lost Creek Wilderness. This is a dirt road that can be accessed by most passenger vehicles in dry conditions and provides numerous opportunities for dispersed camping along the route. There are a few spots that can hold up to 6" inches of water in wet conditions.

Trail was easy to travel. Had a good bit of camping spots to choose from. Only complaints was the amount of used toilet paper around the sites and constant traffic through the night.
