Wellington Lake Road

Washboards and potholes worst north of the Windy Peak Outdoor Lab. Saw sedans and box trucks using the road with no issue.

Road was half paved half dirt , very dusty and bumpy, not the best smooth trails to ride through. Views were amazing. Go out there and enjoy the good weather.

Traveled from Country Rd 70 intersection north. Open, mostly paved from this point as you’re traveling through private properties.

Its open just snowy I got stuck going up the hill on Stoney pass but got back down, road is only private on the sides until you get up to the national forest then it’s open dispersed camping

This road shouldn’t be on ONX. It’s 50% paved and the side of the roads are marked “private property” constantly.

It’s 95% paved from the lake to Bailey. Not a trail any more.

Road had some washboard sections but is in good shape. road narrows in spots and can be difficult to pass vehicles pulling campers so be cautious in blind turns.

Looks like it was just resurfaced and had gotten some rain the night before. Some ppl headed to the lake but it was still pretty open.

Easy road in great condition - the washboards in some sections rattle you pretty good but the rest of the trail is well maintained.

Trail was dry and dusty. No users were present when I was there, roughly 8:30am.

Rough in some spots had a big puddle that was fun

Lots of washboard Road, saw some people took the trail from stony Pass Road all the way up through Wellington Lake Road there was one small water crossing near where the trail turns from stony Pass into Lake Wellington otherwise small small patches of snow and ice some rock patches that weren’t hard but mostly just washboard

Wet snowy patches on north slopes, otherwise muddy.
