Trail Overview

The Bonis Creek Trail, also known as Forest Road 853, is located on the south side of Lost Park Road. This trail is narrow in sections with intermediate obstacles. Some sections are wide enough for vehicles to pull over to allow other vehicles to pass. Many sections are rutted, and there are 12"-18" rocks that will have to be navigated. Stock 4x4s will need a skilled driver to navigate. There are a few areas for camping along this trail.

The trail was in decent shape. Rocky in places and a few ruts, which are routine on the trail. The rating was spot on and no real surprises. If you are looking for a slightly technical trail to cut your teeth on, this is the trail for you.
