Trail Overview

This trail takes you deeper into the Flat Tops up near Heart Lake. It is mostly a dirt/gravel road with rocks and ruts in the area. On the north end, there is a harder, steep section, but there is a bypass to the left. You will need to have a high-clearance vehicle. You will see meadows, flowers, aspen trees, and wildlife. Dispersed camping is available where permitted.

Difficulty

This is an intermediate trail due to the steep rock climb at the north end. There is a bypass, but it is still rutted and rocky, and you will need high clearance.
