Trail Overview

This well-established cutoff provides an alternative option from the Sidewinder Trail to the Smith Mountain Trail. Terrain is easy, but it offers different views to create more of a loop experience in this area. This trail and this area are very accessible, even during the winter months, and make for a nice short day ride when other areas are out of reach.

Nothing difficult on this trail. Wide open and allows for some high speeds with safe visibility.

Very comfy and enjoyable drive while remaining scenic, this is the kind that I prefer. Only a small amount of sections you have to slow down to maneuver.
