Trail Overview
Rocky Ridge winds up from the trailhead with some easy switchbacks and small embedded rocks in the trail. It continues as an easy dirt trail through the sagebrush over big whoops, until it comes up to a bigger rock slab section. You can ride right up the slickrock slab like a ramp. There are a few more rock features like that as it rides along the top of the mesa, having to go up and down small rock ledges, and over chunky embedded boulders. You have to watch your pegs on this trail as a lot of the rocks stick out over the trail. The rock features get a bit more difficult as you ride over the top of the mesa, with bigger slabs and taller ledges, but all still a moderate difficulty. The north end is fast and flowy again through the sagebrush.
