Broken Shovel

Broken Shovel is a very easy mile-long trail through Hartman Rocks that straight-lines through the sagebrush high desert terrain, with a few gradual curves, but lots of whoops. It dips in and out of ravines, but mostly goes flat and straight, making it very easy. There are no rocks and no obstacles. The trail crosses Lost Dog and Skyline and ends at Evan's Loop, all of which are similarly easy or a little bit harder, so it makes a great loop for beginners.
