Trail Overview

The Morrison Single-Track Trail is made up of several segments divided between roads. The first north segment is easy and pretty similar to the BC Rim trail, through a flat forest floor. As you ride south, it starts going downhill through some rocky hills on a narrow, overgrown trail. The trail is pretty troughed and choppy, with small drop-offs from rocks and roots. There is a narrow and shelfy section of side-hilling down to a moderate river crossing. Then it goes up six switchbacks that are tight and steep, but a moderate challenge. It gets back onto a flat top of a mountain, on an easier trail before ending at the Morrison ATV trail. There is one big downed log to go over near the north end.
