Middle Rat Creek Road - NF 504-1B

This NFS road takes you to a beautiful valley with a crossing of Middle Rat Creek. The road has narrow shelves one lane wide along the hillside. Be sure to keep an eye out for pull offs in case you need to back up to allow others to pass. Most SUVs can make it to the valley. After that, the trail gets tougher with rocks. Stay on the main section of road and avoid the fork off it leads to a dead end with nothing to see. There is no cell service.
