Trail Overview
Lunar Ridge is a narrow and steep single track through an adobe badlands landscape near Montrose, Colorado. The trail is a smooth clay surface and winds along the narrow ridge lines of the adobe hills in this recreation area. The trail goes through a very scenic grey and gold dirt landscape that feels very lunar. This trail has some of the steeper hill climbs and descents in the area compared to some of the surrounding trails. The trail goes up and down a couple hills that have really steep tops of the hills, requiring you to maintain momentum, but also make the tight turn at the top to stay on the trail. The twisty trail winds on the ridge line the whole way, until it connects with an ATV trail, and is well marked the entire way. The is a short, but very scenic trail, and close to the Elephant Skin staging area.

Difficulty
The difficulty comes from the steep adobe hill climbs and narrow trail on the ridge lines, but the trail itself is smooth with no rocks and no obstacles.
