Trail Overview

This is a graded gravel road that runs between Crested Butte and Hwy 133. Kebler Pass is well known for its beautiful aspen trees in the fall and is located between the Raggeds Wilderness to the North and the West Elk Wilderness to the south. It is an easy stretch of road that offers lots of dispersed camping off the short spurs along the way with incredible views of the surrounding mountains. Signs on the road state that OHVs are not permitted.

Road in good condition. All dry. Lots of 2x4 and 4x4 traffic & hunters. Leaves starting to turn. Saw turkey, deer and a moose.

Well maintained dirt road, most of it was sprayed to minimize dust. Very busy with traffic from both hunters and sight see'rs. Plenty of dispersed camping.
