This short out-and-back route is relatively easy and, in dry conditions, can be completed by nearly any vehicle with reasonable ground clearance. The road appears to serve primarily as an access route for nearby logging operations and provides access to several logging areas located just off the main trail. It is also used to reach the backside of adjacent private property, where the route ultimately ends at a closed gate marked with no trespassing signs. One unusual aspect of this route is that motorcycles and quads are not permitted, despite the fact that most motorized trails in the surrounding area are open to all types of motorized vehicles.
