Trail Overview

Foreign (FS 811) is another trail within the Kenosha Pass trail network. This trail offers access right off County Rd 124 from US HWY 285. Begin from County Rd 124, the trail is 2 vehicles wide passing through aspens groves and beaver ponds along Hoosier Creek. Good brook trout fishing in these beaver ponds. Couple of designated camping spot along the route which offer large open areas to park trailers and offload ATVs. At the junction with Lininger Ditch (FS 811A) stay to the left crossing Hoosier Creek and the trail will begin going up a steep, single vehicle wide trail. At this point only take off-road trailers. Trail is steep with lots of loose soil and rocks. All along this second half of the trail there is lots of designated camping areas to choose from and side trails to explore. Trail ends down a steep hill at a T junction with Guernsey Trail.
