Overall, it’s a fun and scenic spur with a mix of obstacles, camping opportunities, and rewarding views.
Difficulty
This spur is moderately difficult due to a very steep and heavily washed-out section of trail, along with fallen trees that may require careful navigation. The steep section can be challenging depending on weather and trail conditions, particularly after rain or snow. Most of the route is manageable for a capable off-road vehicle, but drivers should be prepared for uneven terrain, obstacles, and limited room to maneuver in some areas. Experience with off-road driving and proper vehicle clearance is recommended.
