Trail Overview

This scenic trail begins as a wide, double-track gravel road with plenty of room to pass before narrowing around 1 mile in. The route has 4–5-inch ruts, several steep hill climbs, and sections that put you up to 8° off-camber while providing excellent views of the surrounding mountain ranges. 4WD or AWD is highly recommended because of the steep climbs and soft dirt. At 1.1 miles, a level campsite accommodates up to four vehicles with 360-degree mountain views. Another campsite at 2.3 miles sits near the top of the steepest climb, accommodates up to six vehicles, and offers the best views along the trail. The trail ends at a private, locked gate.
