Dry Gulch

Dry Gulch is the perfect spot to camp just outside Creede, CO. Dry Gulch is an out-and-back trail which offers primitive camping spread along the trail from start to finish. Dry Gulch has a small shooting range located at the second fork in the road. Shooting range has metal targets, safe backdrop, and benches to set up on. A few day hiking trailheads are along the trail. Plenty of room at the shooting range if you want to offload ATVs to cruise back to the end of the trail. There are great views along the entire trail, with camping along the creek. A small washout towards the end of the trail from runoff requires some ground clearance. There is plenty of seclusion if you want to relax at your camping area.
