Trail Overview
This fun and easy ATV trail goes between the Buck Singletrack and the East Fork Dry Creek ATV Trail for 4 miles through the Uncompahgre National Forest. The north end starts as a powerline trail, being a wide smooth path in a pine and aspen forest. It starts descending, with small loose rocks in the trail, and shallow ruts. It makes a sharp turn south at a beautiful pond, then heads through meadows and forest. The trail has big rollers and gradual turns, making it fast and flowy. The forest of aspens is gorgeous to ride through, and since the trail is so mild, you can easily take in the scenery around you. About halfway through it starts climbing back up the mountain, with a big hairpin turn. The trail remains easy, just with small loose rocks, but no obstacles. You might find some puddles on the trail, however, and it ends at a metal pinch point for 50" vehicles along Beaver Dams Road.
Difficulty
This is an easier ATV trail as it has no big obstacles, but does have a bit of loose rock, a sharp hairpin turn, and some steeper climbing spots.
