Trail Overview

717C is a 3-mile-long spur trail that starts on the west end of 717 and ends on 717B. It is very wide and gradual for the entire length of the route, mostly riding on a mix of dirt and pea gravel with shallow ruts, but no major obstacles. It has small whoops and banked corners, and narrower shelfy sections. It goes through a dry and open forest of aspens and ponderosa pines, and across a short wooden bridge on the north end. It goes through a deeply troughed section where the trail is dug out between tall dirt banks that may be tight for ATVs. This is a popular riding area, and you will likely see other riders on busy summer weekends.
