Early along the drive, explorers will discover a secluded, flat dispersed campsite perfectly perched near the prominent cliff edge. Capable of accommodating up to two vehicles, this spot provides an absolutely impressive, commanding view of the sweeping valley. As the dirt and rock path meanders onward beneath massive, humming powerlines, it introduces several engaging, moderate obstacles to test your rig. Drivers must confidently navigate a notably steep, loose, rocky descent that culminates in an abrupt 8-inch vertical drop-off, followed later by a similarly steep, chunky, rocky climb featuring sharp ledges around 8 inches tall. This rewarding, highly scenic 20-minute route successfully balances relatively easy dirt cruising with just enough technical flavor to keep the drive interesting.
