The meticulously maintained trail features a smooth, predominantly dirt surface mixed with scattered small pebbles and rocks measuring no larger than two to three inches. Because it appears to have been recently graded, travelers will find minimal ruts and a very comfortable ride. As you venture further, the route ascends the lush mountainside at a gentle, gradual slope consistently staying under 10 degrees, treating visitors to a continuous display of sweeping, panoramic mountain views. Along this tranquil journey, several fantastic dispersed campsites are nestled into the surrounding forest. These sites are notably private, wonderfully level, and perfectly sized to accommodate small camping groups and their overland vehicles. This highly accessible and deeply scenic trail officially concludes at a secure locked gate, making it a perfect quick excursion for nature lovers.
