Trail Overview

Dirt bike trail BLM 8625 is a 2-mile trail that starts and ends on BLM 8624, with a section that parallels Highway 131 in the middle of the loop. Parts of the trail are fast and flowy through the grassy hillsides of the desert mesas, but there are also a couple of challenging sections to get through a couple of rock problems. These are big rounded boulders spanning the trail's width or choppy rock ledges at the tops of several hill climbs. They are moderate obstacles with multiple lines to choose from and very typical for the trail system. The trail is made up of loose dirt and has a couple of loose hill climbs and descents. It drops 300 feet from the top of the mesa, parallels the highway, and climbs 200 feet back up to the tops of the mesa.
