Trail Overview

BLM Route 6101A is located within the Penrose Commons Recreation Area outside the town of Penrose, Colorado. As one of the many interconnected trails in the recreation area, it provides access to a network of routes suitable for off-highway vehicle enthusiasts. The trail is an easy, dirt road open to all classes of OHVs and includes rock gardens, whoops, and minor rock obstacles. There is no fee to access the recreation area, but all OHVs must display a valid Colorado OHV registration or permit. Riders from outside Colorado are required to purchase and display a current Colorado Non-Resident OHV Permit before operating on the trail. The area is closed when mud and weather are present.
