Please note this trail is located within the Alpine Tundra. The picture of the provided trees were planted 45 years ago and are still only maybe 3 feet tall at max. They are of a small group out of 100 trees that were planted that have survived.

The Adelia is a lead mine located in San Juan county, Colorado at an elevation of 12,251 feet. While the trail itself is a public road, the mine and the land on either end of the road is private property. Please remember to abide by tread lightly principles.
