Willow Creek Road

This user-maintained trail offers a comfortable, easygoing drive through the valley and makes a great alternative to the main road if you want to avoid the steeper climb into the mountains. The route stays at a lower elevation, offering a more relaxed way to cross the area without the same ascent and descent as the main route. The surface is generally in good condition, with little vegetation encroaching on the road and only scattered debris. A small creek crosses the route, although there was little to no visible water at the time of travel, possibly because it was drying up. ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides, and Dirt Bikes must always have a valid California ATV Operating Permit sticker.
