Trail Overview

Watson Access - FS 16N71 climbs out of the back of the Lake Forest neighborhood, passing through the edge of Burton Creek State Park. The road starts as good gravel with old sections of pavement, giving way to looser and rockier sections as it climbs to reach the junction of Road 73. Mostly riding as an easy Grade 1, it does contain a few small sections that bump it up to a Grade 2 difficulty.

Difficulty

While the majority of the route consists of paved and smoothly graded gravel (Grade 1), there are a few short sections of loose and rocky track as the road gains elevation, pushing the overall rating to a mild Grade 2.
