Trail Overview

Rouse Ranch is an easy green-rated trail following a mellow dirt road with gentle, winding turns. Riders are treated to expansive views of rolling green hills and relaxed terrain that make this route a good place to slow down and enjoy the scenery. Expect mostly smooth travel with occasional patches of loose rock, though these are generally easy to avoid. The route is suitable for most high-clearance vehicles, with 2WD or better typically sufficient under normal conditions

Overall an excellent day on the trails. It's an easy drive with no major obstacles. We went for the route of Rouse Ranch (2N25) to Crab Flats (3N34) to hook creek (2N26Y) to loop around to Cedar Glen however the gate for Hook Creek at the turn towards Dishpan Springs is closed so we had to do the turn around and back to the Rouse Ranch trail head. Fyi: gate at both ends of Hook Creek (2N26Y) is closed.
