Plantation OHV Road - 2N29Y

This trail is a pretty good trail for high clearance vehicles. Must be done with 4wd. All in all, its rating is decently accurate, but it has one large embedded rock, and the surrounding sand has been eroded, raising the point to about a 3ft drop off. The rest of the trail was rutted out, and not horrible although there are some sections with loose rock gardens/ climbs, and some intense off camber stuff. We completed it in the pouring rain with a Jeep YJ with 35s, lockers front and rear, 6” lift, and 4-link coil-over swap. 4.10 gears, and we also had a stock YJ with 33s, 4” lift, Detroit locker in the rear. The bigger jeep made it with a little difficulty, and the smaller one got high centered on the large rock and had to be winched. My final rating for this trail would be a 5 or 6, primarily because of that large unpassable rock.

the hills you need to hit with some speed if not you, get caught up lose sand and struggle to get up the hills, i had some trouble doing this but this also m y second time riding

Certain sections of the trail are very off camber and seem much more difficult than a level 4 rating. I’d rate it a 6 because of the off camber ruts and 3ft boulder mandatory drop off in one section of the trail. All doable, but again a level 4 rating doesn’t seem appropriate, so be prepared.
