Trail Overview

2N29Y is an OHV green sticker and street-legal combined-use road. The road ascends from a lower canyon setting in the forest along a ridge line through manzanita and pines. The surface will vary from dirt to loose rocks to exposed bedrock. Off-camber climbing and some V notches will add some excitement. There is a rock obstacle midway on a climb that will challenge lower clearance vehicles. The best line to pass this obstacle is on the west side. Some water may collect after rain along the road, but this road remained firm without slipping or loss of traction. This trail is overseen in the Adopt-A-Trail program by the "Inland Empire 4 Wheelers" club.

Certain sections of the trail are very off camber and seem much more difficult than a level 4 rating. I’d rate it a 6 because of the off camber ruts and 3ft boulder mandatory drop off in one section of the trail. All doable, but again a level 4 rating doesn’t seem appropriate, so be prepared.
