Trail Overview

This 7-mile point-to-point trail starts at the junction of Three Sisters and Rainbow Well and ends at Long Prairie Road, serving as one of the main east-west 4x4 trails in the Klamath National Forest. The trail cuts through a healthy and mature pine forest lined with different brush species and pine trees, creating a diverse and scenic wooded corridor throughout the journey. Railroad Grade 77, a more developed dirt road, runs parallel to this trail to the south, providing an alternative route option for those seeking easier travel. The trail surface consists of loose, dusty dirt with some very small rocks scattered throughout, and airing down is essential for a comfortable ride given the loose surface conditions.
