Trail Overview
This short, fast single-lane road is the access to the high-country trail system at the Norris Trailhead. The road itself is smooth, packed dirt and gravel, allowing for a quick 10-minute blast to the trailhead parking area. The road is a clear two-track width and composed of soft, reddish-brown packed dirt and loose gravel. The landscape is a textbook example of the devastation left by the 2020 Creek Fire burn. The canopy is destroyed, and the area is dominated by blackened and silver snags.
