Jobs Peak Trail Road - FS 31051A is a tranquil 0.5-mile out-and-back spur route through alpine forest managed by Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. Accessed directly from the main forest road network, this short single-track dirt road serves as a primary access corridor for hikers to reach the Jobs Peak Trailhead. Hikers and backpackers routinely use this path to reach the scenic high-country trails, while off-grid travelers can utilize the area for dispersed camping. The route consists of a single-track, hard-packed dirt surface embedded with small scattered rocks, maintaining a gentle grade throughout. At the end of the spur, the trail opens up into a large dirt parking turnaround that can easily accommodate around ten vehicles, complete with official trail access along the back edge of the turnaround.
